Cost-effective border monitoring system addressing small-sized maritime and airborne threats across the electromagnetic spectrum

Kuala Lumpur, April 20, 2026 – Communications security and mobile network defense specialist GSMK today demonstrated the GSMK Overwatch® system’s role as a key enabler for cost-effective border control security by orchestrating a network of inexpensive, widely dispersed sensors at the opening of DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026, Asia’s largest Defense and Homeland Security exhibition.

In the setup shown at DSA 2026, the system fuses data from the company’s latest generation of RF sensors as well as third-party optical sensors in one integrated situation report capable of providing a comprehensive overview of activity even along very drawn-out borderlines. Governments and militaries can thus build early warning systems addressing small-sized maritime and airborne threats like UAVs with significantly wider coverage than traditional systems – at a fraction of the cost.
