Single-site cellular threat localization and tracking solution for protecting forward operating bases and high-value assets

Paris, June 17, 2024 – Responding to the rapidly growing need to quickly locate cellular threats, including airborne IMSI Catchers, from forward operating bases and other locations with very limited geographical footprints, GSMK today introduced a new radio direction finding subsystem for the GSMK Overwatch system at Eurosatory 2024, the global event for defense and security in Paris, France.

The new direction-finding subsystem expands the functionality of the GSMK Overwatch system for the distributed detection and localization of rogue mobile base stations by permitting quick, accurate location of incoming threats – at a fraction of the cost of typical radio direction finding systems. The new RDF subsystem has been developed completely in-house, and has already been extensively tested in multiple military and civilian contexts throughout the past year. It is available immediately for existing and prospective GSMK Overwatch operators, expanding their operational capabilities in terms of detection range and threat localization and tracking.

At Eurosatory 2024, GSMK also showcases the new GMK CryptoPhone 23, successor to the popular GSMK CryptoPhone 20 desktop IP phone. Fully compatible with the rest of the GSMK CryptoPhone ecosystem, the CryptoPhone 23 features a high-performance CPU, more memory, and a large screen ideally suited not just for end-to-end encrypted voice, but also for messaging and encrypted file transfer from any desktop or laptop computer attached to the CryptoPhone 23.

The GSMK team in Paris is looking forward to your visit at GSMK’s booth J321 at the German Pavilion in Hall 6 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. To schedule a meeting at Eurosatory 2024, please contact us via phone at +49 30 24625000, or via e-mail at sales@cryptophone.de.
